Anglers can expect to encounter specimens weighing between 3 and 6 kilograms, with the possibility of reeling in mammoth catches exceeding 8 to 15 kilograms.
Pacú
Joining Dorado in the river’s sailing experience are other exhilarating species like the Pacú, typically between 4 and 6 kg in weight. Another popular catch is the Pira Pita (misnamed salmon by the locals), which can weigh up to 7 kilos and is very combative and jumpy, ensuring varied and fun fishing.
Surubí
The Surubí, also known as Toro del Río, inhabits the Paraná basin and due to its aggressiveness, it is a species considered an enormous attraction for sport fishermen.
