How do I get to Hotel Puerto Valle?
There are 2 ways to get to our hotel:
- By car: We recommend using Google Maps to find the best itinerary from your location. Find our location maps righ here. For example, to get here from Buenos Aires to Hotel Puerto Valle by car, take National Route 14 + National Route 120 + National Route 12.
Note: National Route 12 is paved. No special vehicle is required. - By plane: You can take a flight to Ibera Wetlands. IN-OUT transfers are included from the airport, only from the Libertador General José de San Martín Airport, Posadas, Misiones Province. Can I access the lodge without being a guest just to visit the facilities?
No, only guests staying at the lodge and with a confirmed reservation can enter the premises.
What is the weather like in the Esteros del Iberá?
The weather in the Esteros del Iberá is humid and temperatures are normally between 14ºC and 22ºC. Although Iberá is located in a subtropical region, it has a fully tropical climate, due to the abundant atmospheric humidity that stops the heat caused by the sun in this environment.
In the summer, the maximum temperature can exceed 40°C, while in the winter the minimum can reach 5°C.
During the fall and winter, with the arrival of the rainy season, nature displays different hues and aromas, more intense as a result of the water and its reflection.
What should I pack for my trip?
We recommend that you wear layers of clothing, onion style! During day-time, temperatures rise, but in the early morning and evening it feels cooler. A windbreaker and a light coat are essential items. Don’t forget your hat and sunscreen. Bring comfortable and waterproof shoes, to avoid getting wet.
The hotel will provide rain boots and umbrellas if necessary. Insect repellents are available in the rooms and in the common areas, and our guides will also provide them during the activities.

You do not need to book the activities that are organized by the hotel.

Do you offer 4 meals a day?
In Puerto Valle we offer accommodation with full board (breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner) including non-alcoholic drinks. In the excursions, a snack is also offered.
Do you offer food for celiacs?
Yes. At the time of booking, please inform us of any dietary restrictions (celiac disease, lactose intolerance, vegetarian, etc.) so we can take them into account.
Can I access the hotel restaurant if I am not a guest?
No, the restaurant and the common areas of the lodge are for the exclusive use of guests staying at Puerto Valle.
